Human hair wigs can last for years with proper care!
Prior to wearing your wig for the first time, you can wash or rinse it, but keep in mind, washing your unit frequently can shorten its lifespan.
Wash Day
Step 1 - Prep
Use a wide tooth comb or your fingers to gently detangle strands from ends to roots.
Step 2 - Wash
Submerge unit in a sink or under a shower faucet with cool to lukewarm water to rinse.
Step 3 - Shampoo
Stroke a small amount of mild or clarifying shampoo through strands avoiding the base. Run cool water from the base to the ends until the water runs clear to remove shampoo. Blot the unit with a towel before conditioning.
Step 4 - Condition
Apply a small amount of conditioner to strands away from the base and gently comb from ends to roots. Let conditioner sit according to conditioner instructions. Run cool water from the base to the ends until water runs clear to remove conditioner.
Step 5 - Towel Dry
Gently blot/towel dry and place unit on a wig stand to air dry.
